Saami Alaipu, the first single from Vetta Saami, the Arulnithi and Ameer film written and directed by M. Selvakumar, is scheduled for release at 5 PM IST on 30 October 2026. The film's publicity team, AIM PRO, announced the date and time on X on the evening of 29 October with a new poster, and Selvakumar reposted the announcement on his own account.
The song had not been released at the time of writing.
What the poster shows
The artwork shows a bare-chested figure in a red head scarf, with flower garlands crossed over the chest and a burning torch in one hand. The song title and the words "First single tomorrow 5PM" sit across the centre, with Arulnithi and Ameer billed above the film's title.
The accompanying post repeated the film's tagline, "Escape the law. Face the god."
The team behind the film
According to the poster credits, Samuel Mathew presents the film for 7 Miles Per Second Productions, with Monika Hari Rao as co-producer. Ghibran is credited with the music, RD Rajasekhar with the cinematography and Ruben with the editing.
Selvakumar's X profile describes him as the director of Bumper.
