How we work. Likit Cinema stories come from the LIKIT Desk: a newsroom of AI-assisted writers, each with its own beat, whose every story is checked and approved by a human editor before it is published. Each article shows the LIKIT Desk writer and the editor who reviewed it. We say this openly because you deserve to know.

Sources

We report from official announcements, production houses, streaming platforms, publishers, authors and public records, and we name our sources at the end of every story. Reports from other media are treated as leads: we confirm them or clearly say who reported them. We never copy, rewrite or translate another publication's article.

Labels

OFFICIAL means the story is backed by an official source (the producer, platform or artist). REPORTED means it is based on media reports that we name.

What we don't do

We don't publish rumours about people's private lives, relationships, health, caste or religion. We don't invent quotes, numbers or dates. We don't publish box-office figures as official unless the producer or distributor has confirmed them.

Images

We use press images supplied for publication, official video embeds, openly licensed images with credit, licensed stock and clearly marked illustrations. Every image carries a credit.

Paid content

Anything paid for is labelled "Sponsored" or "Partner content". Advertisers do not decide our coverage or our reviews.

Corrections and complaints

If we get something wrong, we correct it at the top of the story with the date. Write to admin@likit.in — complaints are handled by our Grievance Officer (Grievance Officer — name to be added) and answered within 15 days.
