The soundtrack of Sundar C's Mookuthi Amman 2: Mahasakthi (2026), composed by Hiphop Tamizha, is now streaming. Vels Film International and its music arm, Vels Music International, announced on X at about 6:20 PM IST on 28 October 2026 that the album was "OUT NOW", following a morning post from both handles that set the 6 PM release on audio streaming platforms.
Six tracks on the official listing
The album's Apple Music page lists six tracks, labels the release an EP and carries a 2026 copyright line for Vels Music International. The tracks, in order, are:
- Mahashakthi Trance
- Bhairaa's Rebirth
- Kolaar Max
- Raatchasa Raja
- Amman Song
- Rise of Mahasakthi
Hiphop Tamizha is credited on every track. The listing also names Aruna Ravindran, Kharesma Ravichandran, Shreya Ghoshal, Vignesh Srikanth, Yuki Praveen, Madras Miran, Chinnaponnu and Muthamil among the artists on individual songs, while Kaushik Krish appears on five of the six. Kolaar Max carries the longest credit list, with six names including Shreya Ghoshal. Rise of Mahasakthi is credited to Hiphop Tamizha alone.
Where to listen
The official release link shared by both Vels handles points to the album on Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and Gaana. The link page presents the release as the film's original motion picture soundtrack.
A new poster with the album
Both announcements came with fresh artwork. The morning poster read "Album releasing today 6 PM", and the evening version was updated to "Audio out now on all streaming platforms". Each shows Nayanthara, in a golden crown and holding a trident, locked in a face-off with a second character in the foreground.
The production house's posts did not name the actor in that second role, so Likit is not identifying her from the artwork.
Countdown to 6 November
The posts again tie the film to a Diwali release in theatres on 6 November 2026, the date Vels Film International repeated on 27 October when it announced the film's U/A 16+ certificate. The album lands on the same day the banner posted that it was "all set" for the film's pre-release event, though it has not yet shared details from that event.
