Vettuvam, directed by Pa Ranjith, will reach cinemas worldwide during Pongal 2027, the director and his banner Neelam Productions announced on the evening of 30 October 2026. A new poster shared by both carries the line "In cinemas Pongal 2027 worldwide", while Ranjith's own post tags the release as January 2027. Neither has named an exact date.
What the poster confirms
The poster credits the film as a G.V. Prakash Kumar musical and lists S. Sai Devanand, S. Sai Venkateswaran and Pa Ranjith as producers, with Neelam Productions and Learn and Teach Production as the banners. The title appears in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam scripts.
In his post, Ranjith said the forces of the film are "set to unleash their madness and mastery". The banner's caption describes the film as "taking over the big screens" at the festival.
