Filming on Santa 20, actor Santhanam's film with director Sudhaman Krishna, is complete. Santhanam and the film's production houses, K7 Studios and Venus Infotainment, announced the wrap on X on the evening of 19 October 2026, adding that the first look would be unveiled at 5:30 PM on 20 October 2026.
In his post, the actor wrote that "the clock has stopped ticking on the sets of my next" and that a new timeline was about to unfold. Both production houses posted a similar message from their own handles.
Who is making it
The makers' posts credit KJ Ganesh and Vijay K Celliah as producers, alongside the two banners. K7 Studios' wrap post names G.V. Prakash Kumar as the music composer.
That credit differs from the one given at the start of the project. When the banners launched the film in March 2026, their posts named Nivas K Prasanna as composer. The wrap posts did not address the change.
How the project began
The team marked the start of the film with a pooja ceremony, and both banners shared video from it on 6 March 2026. In those posts, the makers described Santa 20 as a time-loop detective thriller with humour and mystery, and said shooting was already under way.
Santhanam announced the project the same day, calling it "an interesting Time loop based thriller" and saying he was happy to work with the two production houses and both producers.
The wrap video
The roughly one-minute video attached to the 19 October announcement strings together behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot. It moves from the launch ceremony through green-screen work and night schedules, then closes on a group shot of the unit and a card announcing the first-look reveal.
