Bravehearts Production LLP held the puja ceremony for Daredevil, Ajith Kumar's new film with director Adhik Ravichandran, on 2 November 2026, the day the makers had set for filming to begin. The production house shared photos from the event on X that afternoon, describing it as the start of a new chapter celebrated with the entire crew.

Actor Parthiban was the first to mark the day, sharing a photo on X on the morning of 2 November. "Amazing Kushi to share the screen with the great AK," he wrote, adding that he was looking forward to working with Adhik.
The director followed with his own post that afternoon, declaring that Daredevil had arrived. In it, he thanked Ajith, Shalini Ajith Kumar and the Bravehearts banner, along with composer Anirudh Ravichander and actors Unni Mukundan, Sreeleela, Parthiban and Sunil. The film's publicist, Suresh Chandra, separately posted photos from the ceremony featuring Unni Mukundan, Sreeleela, Parthiban and actor Prabhu.
The makers have not issued a formal cast list, so the roles these actors play remain undisclosed. Unni Mukundan's presence at the launch is the newest addition, as his name had not appeared in the team's earlier announcements.
How the project took shape
Bravehearts Production revealed the Daredevil title on 3 August 2026, in posts carrying Shalini Ajith Kumar's name alongside the banner. On 16 September 2026, the production house announced that filming would begin on 2 November, and Adhik described the news on X as "My Sir's Advance Birthday Gift to me".
Anirudh's involvement was confirmed by the director on 16 October 2026, when he wished the composer a happy birthday and promised another Ajith and Anirudh combination for Daredevil.
