Sreeleela has joined the cast of Dharman, the Rajinikanth film written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Raaj Kamal Films International, Kamal Haasan's production house, revealed her inclusion at 11 AM IST on 4 November 2026 with a 34-second announcement video on X, delivering the update it had promised the previous evening. The banner welcomed her with the caption "SHE'S GOT THE SPARK / SHE'S GOT THE PATAKA".
What the video shows
The clip is an animated, painted-style sequence rather than live footage. It shows Sreeleela in a magenta outfit with gold jhumka earrings against stone arches and a warm evening sky, with on-screen text announcing that she "ENTERS THE HEARTS OF DHARMAN". Her character name and role are not mentioned.
The closing card carries the line "THE DEADLY DON" beneath the film's title. It also credits Anirudh Ravichander for music, Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran as producers, Niketh Bommi as cinematographer, Pradeep E. Ragav as editor, M.R. Karthik Rajkumar as production designer and Anbariv for action. Director Ashwath Marimuthu welcomed the actor on board in a separate post shortly after the reveal.
Background
Sreeleela joins Nayanthara, whom the production house announced as part of the cast on 25 October 2026. In Tamil cinema this month, she also appears as Roja in Rajkumar Periasamy's OM, which she said in her own post on 3 November will reach theatres on 20 November.
