C.S. Amudhan's Tamizh Padam 3 went on floors on 5 November 2026, with Shiva returning in the lead and Athulya Ravi co-starring. Y Not Studios announced the shoot start on X the same morning and shared the first poster, which carries the line "Filming starts today" and the chapter title Alien Athiyayam.
Who is making it
Amudhan wrote and directed the film. S. Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra produce it for Y Not Studios, with AP International on the poster. The artwork bills Shiva as "Intergalactic Superstar" and shows him facing a spacecraft, matching the Alien Athiyayam tag on the first look.
Amudhan also posted his own first-look note the same day — "Bigger. Better. Out of this world. WE ARE BACK!" — marking the return of the spoof franchise he previously made with Shiva.
