Anirudh Ravichander's soundtrack for Jailer 2 has reached No. 1 on Spotify's Top Albums: India chart, producer Sun Pictures announced on X on 24 October 2026. The studio shared the news with a celebratory poster while the Rajinikanth film continues its run in theatres worldwide.
What the announcement shows
The poster names the album as Jailer 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) and displays the chart position as "#1 on Spotify" under the heading Top Albums (India). It features Rajinikanth, seated with a revolver in hand.
Its credit block says Kalanithi Maran presents the film, with Nelson as writer and director, and bills the project as an Anirudh musical. Alongside the poster, Sun Pictures linked to the full album for listeners.
The composer's response
Anirudh reshared the Sun Pictures post on his official X account on the same day. He did not add a separate statement of his own.
