Dubbing is under way for Pocket Novel, the film directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, production house Tyler Durden And Kino Fist announced on X on 23 October 2026, and actor Vijay Sethupathi confirmed that he has started recording his lines with a post of his own the same evening. Both posts carry a short behind-the-scenes video from the dubbing studio.

What the video shows

The clip, under 40 seconds long, shows Sethupathi at the microphone in a recording booth while the director watches and gives notes from the console. It closes on a red title card that reads "Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Pocket Novel" with the words "Coming soon".

Sethupathi's post

The actor framed the session as a return to the filmmaker's work. "Stepping into Thiagarajan Kumararaja's world, one more time," he wrote, adding that dubbing had begun.

Dubbing is a post-production stage in which actors re-record their dialogue in a studio. Neither post gave a timeline for the remaining work.
